Wow, what a busy fall and winter we have had.

We really enjoyed playing with Valdy & Gary Fjellgaard again as part of their tour of the Okanagan.

Had an awesome time playing the feature at the Sunnybrae Coffee House. Always love playing Sunnybrae where it all started for us many years ago. The Westsyde Coffee House had an enthusiastic crowd as always. Thank you to Wayne and crew for having us feature there again, and we are looking forward to our featured performances at The Barnhartvale and Celista Coffee Houses.
 
In the past few months we have celebrated the birth of our second Grandson Jakob Alexander Timothy Hopkins and our 40th wedding anniversary.
 
We are very excited about the Songwriter Showcase Series kicking off on Friday March 30th at the Salmon Arm Art Gallery. The monthly showcases will feature various performing songwriters with different themes in March, April and May. There will be some surprises so stay tuned! The March showcase is "Duos" and will feature Sue Kyle and Alan Bates, Mike Shaver and Stephanie Webster (A Million Dollars in Pennies) and be hosted by Blu & Kelly Hopkins.

The shows will focus on original music and local musicians and will be in a songwriters' circle format ending with all the performers jamming songs together. We have so many talented performers in our area and we are looking forward to the audiences being able to participate in an intimate setting. Tickets will be $10.00ea and will be going on sale mid February. Watch for the posters!
 
We are working full-time teaching, writing, promoting and recording in our Silvercreek Studio & Acoustic Music Academy. We are currently booking our spring and summer schedule and will be performing at various venues so keep checking our schedule to see when we will playing in your area.
